I have been searching for a high-quality low-porosity leave-in product like this for a long time. The product is lightweight & it melts like butter into my hair. The moisture retention is days without product reapplication so far, no product build-up either!

This makes my hair incredibly soft and light, and really makes my curls pop. It doesnt have hold, which it's not really supposed to, but I do feel like my hair is malleable when it dries. It absorbs wonderfully in my Low-Po hair.
My only complaint, which I guess is technically a feature, is that it's almost too lightweight. I feel like I need a lot of it to fully saturate my short, medium density hair, which means I'm going to go through this really quickly. I do wish it could be a bit thicker so a little went a longer way. But the product works great as is so that's a Nice To Have.

When I first started formulating, I didn’t know about hair porosity. My journey began by giving free samples of a curly cream to women buying wigs from my first side hustle. Initially, feedback was positive, but then some women mentioned the product couldn’t penetrate their hair or define their curls.
Puzzled, I noticed a major difference when using the same product on a woman with high porosity hair—it defined her curls at first, but they vanished once her hair dried. This led me to dive deep into researching hair porosity during my PhD. I discovered that different porosity levels required specific formulations. Months later, I created a curly cream specifically for high porosity hair, tested it on the same woman, and the results were mesmerizing.
