Initially, feedback was positive, but then some women mentioned the product couldn’t penetrate their hair or define their curls.
Puzzled, I noticed a major difference when using the same product on a woman with high porosity hair—it defined her curls at first, but they vanished once her hair dried. This led me to dive deep into researching hair porosity during my PhD. I discovered that different porosity levels required specific formulations. Months later, I created a curly cream specifically for high porosity hair, tested it on the same woman, and the results were mesmerizing.
