Our African’s secret shampoo bar is formulated with natural ingredients such as Sunflower oil that will condition your hair. Herbs such as Oregano, Parsley, Basil, Thyme, Rosemary, Sage, and Marjoram which are used in African Traditional Medicine are full of nutrients, and minerals that will nourish your hair. In addition, they possess anti-fungal, anti-microbial, and anti-inflammatory properties that will treat your scalp. A healthy scalp is the bedrock of hair growth so don't underestimate the power of these herbs. The addition of exfoliating pearls, cinnamon, and peppermint essential oil will increase blood flow to your scalp thus promoting hair growth.

Directions: On wet hair, apply to the scalp and rub to create a nice lather. After massaging the shampoo onto your scalp, draw the excess lather down the length of your hair to cleanse your strands and rinse away thoroughly. For best results, follow up with one of the hydrating lines.
Natural Ingredients: Sunflower oil, Oatmeal, Cinnamon, Oregano, Parsley, Basil, Thyme, Rosemary, Sage, Marjoram, Hibiscus Flower, White flour, Wheat flour Peppermint oil, Plantains, cornstarch, cornmeal, and LOVE.
Synthetic ingredients: Behentrimonium Methosulfate (Non-sulfate derived from rapeseed oils), Fragrance (non-phthalate), Benzylalcohol-DHA.

This shampoo bar is very soft because it is not prepared with synthetic alkaline bases but with plantain-derived bases following the African Black Soap protocol. Since it is not as hard as some synthetic soap we recommend avoiding letting your bar into water (or it will melt).
During the summer, we recommend keeping your bar in the fridge.
Please allow a slight variation in shape and color due to natural ingredients.
